Upon arrival at Jozani Forest, you’ll enjoy a guided walk through the tropical forest, where your local guide will share fascinating insights about the ecosystem, native plants, and the unique wildlife that calls this forest home. Next, we’ll move to the area where the local monkeys are usually found. With the guidance of our local expert, you’ll have the chance to see a variety of species, including the playful Zanzibar red colobus monkey — one of the rarest endemic primates — along with other monkeys in their natural habitat. After the forest adventure, we’ll continue to Salaam Cave, a unique and photogenic site famous for its giant marine turtles. You’ll have a guaranteed 30 minutes to be up close with the giant marine turtles, where you can observe, take photos, and enjoy this unique encounter in their natural surroundings. If the tide is ideal, there may also be time to swim at the nearby pristine white-sand beach, offering a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the water.
